1. Introduction
Meubel Studio ("we", "our", or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Kitchen Stock Tracker ("the App") accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares data when you use the App.
This policy is intended to meet Google Play User Data and Privacy Policy requirements.
2. Data We Access and Process
The App is designed to work primarily on-device. We process the following categories of data:
- Inventory Data: item names, categories, quantities, units, notes, purchase dates, expiry dates, storage locations, and related inventory records you enter.
- Template and Activity Data: food templates, shopping list suggestions, inventory activity history, and app usage records needed for app functionality.
- Camera and Image Data: barcode scans and photos you capture or select (for barcode/produce features).
- App Settings Data: preferences such as reminder time, notification settings, and theme settings.
- Backup/Export Data: JSON backup files you choose to export, import, share, or open.
We do not require account registration and do not intentionally collect your name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts, or payment details through the App itself.
3. Permissions We Request
The App may request these permissions only for feature use:
- Camera: to scan barcodes and capture produce images.
- Photos/Media/File Access: to pick images and import/export backup files.
- Notifications: to send local reminders and alerts you enable.
If you deny a permission, related features may not work.
4. How We Use Data
We use data to:
- provide core inventory tracking features;
- estimate and track expiry timelines;
- generate shopping recommendations;
- save your settings and reminders;
- allow backup/export/import and user-initiated file sharing;
- maintain app stability and functionality.
5. Data Storage and Processing Location
Your app data is stored locally on your device (on-device database/storage).
We do not operate a cloud backend for automatic sync or server-side account storage in the current version.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not share your data with third parties for advertising.
Data may leave your device only when you explicitly trigger actions such as:
- exporting backup files;
- sharing files via other apps/services you choose.
Platform providers (such as Google Play and Android OS) may process technical or operational data under their own privacy terms.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain data on your device until you delete it.
You can delete data by:
- removing items/settings inside the App;
- using data reset/clear features in the App (if available);
- clearing app storage in Android settings;
- uninstalling the App (which removes app-local data, subject to your device/backup configuration).
Exported backup files remain where you saved/shared them until you delete them.
8. Security
We apply reasonable measures to protect data processed by the App, including local app sandboxing and least-permission access.
No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for securing your device and backup files.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. International Data Transfers
Because app data is processed locally by default, we do not intentionally transfer your data to our own remote servers.
If you choose to share/export files through third-party services, those services may process data in other countries under their own policies.
11. Your Privacy Choices
You can:
- review and edit your data directly in the App;
- disable notifications in the App or device settings;
- revoke permissions in Android settings;
- delete app data at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
We will update the “Last Updated” date when changes are made. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
