Carrycheck ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application Carrycheck ("App") handles your information.

Carrycheck is designed with privacy as a core principle:

All data created within the App is stored locally on your device only:

Trip checklists: Stored locally using on-device database

Item preferences: Stored locally on your device

Scan photos: Temporarily stored on your device and can be deleted at any time through the Settings menu

Your data never leaves your device. We do not have access to any information you create in the App.

Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

Camera Permission

Purpose: To scan your bag contents and help identify packed items

Usage: Only activated when you explicitly start a scan

Storage: Photos are stored temporarily on your device and can be deleted anytime

Notification Permission

Purpose: To send optional reminders before you leave

Usage: Only enabled when you choose to set a reminder

Control: You can disable notifications at any time through device settings or the App

Third-Party Services

Carrycheck does not use any third-party services, including:

❌ No analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)

❌ No advertising networks

❌ No crash reporting services

❌ No social media integrations

❌ No cloud storage services

Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

Delete scan photos: Go to Settings → Delete Scan Photos

Delete all data: Go to Settings → Delete All Data

Uninstall the App: All data will be permanently removed from your device

Children's Privacy

Carrycheck does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age. The App is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
